About Jeremy Whyte

I have a background in computer programming, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and 2 years' experience making websites. I am self-taught in web design and development, with skills in both the design side and the technical side.

Using my artistic eye for design and composition, I work with layouts, colours, imagery, typography and graphics. My technical skills are in hand-coding, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and some back-end programming.

Creating quality results, providing value, finding solutions to problems, crafting something useful and aesthetically pleasing, these are things which drive me and direct me in my work.

I have diverse eclectic interests, including various areas of design, technology, environmental issues, creative writing, and salsa dancing. I was born in Canada and grew up in Vancouver. After earning my B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Statistics from U. of Manitoba, I spent some time living abroad in South Korea. I returned to Vancouver in 2006 and am now based in the Kitsilano area of Vancouver.
